Hands down the best. It's called Winning Eleven in the States.

I don't get how you guys manage to turn this into negative news.

Well your submission was only about 360 when the news is actually about talks with both Sony and Microsoft. This article has a bit more meat to it, too.

This isn't new but okay.

Yep, something's wrong. Or they think HD-DVD isn't a threat because of their mediocre launch and want to wait to bring down costs a little...

It's funny, but really not that surprising. This type of mistake happens all the time in Japan as a result of their language lacking the proper 'L' phoneme. The closest thing they have are 'Ra, Ri, Ru, Re, Ro' which are sometimes pronounced as 'La, Li, Lu, Le, Lo' (kudos to whoever might recognize this from a certain popular PS2 game).

Don't worry, I'm not bashing your submission. Just wondering what they're referring to in the article.

How is news regarding the delay of Sony's first Blu-ray player 'hype and lies'?

7300d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Does anyone have/know the link to the article that this one refers to. The one about the guy being 'right' about something before. Just curious, and I don't feel like browsing through that stupid blog of a website.

I sincerely hope that 1UP podcasts and weekly shows won't be submitted every week.

If Samsung delays their player then something is definitely wrong.

Shut up. And throw out your computer while you're at it.

Thanks.

Won't be surprised if it happens.

Please don't post news that requires paid membership to view. How many of us actually have IGN Insider to view the 720p trailer?

I think the speeding up of battles will make it much more intense. Since it's still ATB, you'll still get the same type of gameplay only much faster and with heavily scripted attacks and moves. If they can get it to work and make a battle feel more natural, I'm all for it. I just hope they go in the right direction with it.

As for them now basing franchises on a single Final Fantasy, well, that's just for money. If they're good games I don't mind, and I'm sure Nomura can make s...

I thought the same thing. But PSX was more expensive: 79,800 yen and 99,800 yen. The PS3 in Japan is 62,790 yen and probably about 73,000 yen.

I think it's going to be tough to get people to view a PlayStation as more than a game console. So until they do change the general view on PS, they're also going to have a tough time selling it at the higher price.

Perhaps he's referring to how people pointed out how 360 didn't have HDMI either.

7305d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Oh, 360 doesn't have HDMI? Who would've thought...?

7305d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I was right. Hah. Well, at least others think so. We'll see if it's right.

And I don't think that's true about the multi-out on the 360, otherwise I'm sure Sony would've taken the same route with their AV multi-out. Same goes for PC video cards. They would've merged VGA (analog) and DVI (digital) into one output ...

Yeah. Sony has always come off as the arrogant one of the bunch especially with Hirai's citing of PS2 numbers everytime he takes the stage. And Nintendo (Reggie usually) is sometimes a little too proud. I've always been impressed with the J. Allard interviews because he's always been down to earth and knows that there's always room for two or more in the videogame market.

Now Hats off to O'Hanrahan, too.
